Qdot developed and implemented an integrated ISO 9001:2015 quality and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system for Luxury Carts Arabia. The company trades and services golf carts, club cars, utility vehicles, dune buggies, turf machines and electric scooters from its Jeddah head office and Riyadh branch.
Qdot built the system in about four months. Luxury Carts has since completed its first full three-year certification cycle with NORMEIRA (formerly TÜV Apex), an EIAC-accredited certification body, and hasrenewed its contract with Qdot for the next three years.

About Luxury Carts Arabia
Luxury Carts is a long-established supplier of electric and utility vehicles in the region. Since September 2020 it has been Club Car’s distribution partner for Saudi Arabia and the UAE, supplying Club Car’s range of electric vehicles to customers across the Kingdom.
In Saudi Arabia,Luxury Carts operates from its head office in Jeddah and a branch in Riyadh. Its certified scope covers the trading of club cars, agricultural tractors, golf carts, dune buggies, turf machines, electric scooters, spare parts, batteries and GPS, together with aftersales and rental services.
Its customers include resorts, golf courses, hospitality developments, residential communities, campuses and large project sites, a market growing quickly as Saudi Vision 2030 drives new tourism, leisure and giga-project developments across the Kingdom.
The Challenge: Consistent Quality and Safe Workshops Across Two Cities
A vehicle trading business with aftersales and rental services has two sides to manage. On the commercial side, customers expect consistent product quality, reliable delivery, responsive aftersales and well-maintained rental fleets. On the operational side, workshops, warehouses and delivery activities carry real occupational health and safety risks.
Luxury Carts needed a management system that would:
- Standardise quality across sales, delivery, aftersales service, spare parts and rental, at both the Jeddah head office and the Riyadh branch.
- Control workplace risks in workshop, battery, warehouse, vehicle handling and delivery activities, under one formal OH&S framework.
- Meet customer and tender expectations, where certified ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems are increasingly required for supplier registration on hospitality, leisure and development projects.
- Work as one system, not two, so a 160-person team could run quality and safety together.
- Stay audit-ready year after year, not just at the initial certification.
Why Luxury Carts Chose Qdot
- Integrated QHSE expertise. Qdot builds ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 as one system with shared documentation, internal audits and management reviews.
- Practical, operations-led documentation. Procedures and controls were built around how Luxury Carts actually sells, services and rents its vehicles, not generic templates.
- Speed without shortcuts. The system was developed and implemented in about four months, with real implementation evidence in place before the certification audit.
- Long-term support. Qdot stays with clients through surveillance and recertification, so the system keeps working after the first certificate.
The Qdot Approach
Phase 1: Gap Analysis and Planning
Qdot reviewed Luxury Carts’ existing processes at the Jeddah head office and Riyadh branch against ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and set out a project plan to reach certification readiness.
Phase 2: Integrated System Development
Qdot developed one documentation framework covering both standards, including:
- quality and OH&S policy and objectives
- context of the organisation, interested parties, and risks and opportunities
- sales, delivery, aftersales service, spare parts and rental processes
- hazard identification and risk assessment for workshop, warehouse, battery and vehicle handling activities
- legal and other requirements, operational controls and emergency preparedness
- incident reporting, nonconformity and corrective action, and performance monitoring
Phase 3: Implementation
Qdot supported Luxury Carts’ teams in putting the system into daily use at both locations: building records, tracking objectives, applying risk controls and making sure evidence was in place for the certification audit.
Phase 4: Internal Audit, Management Review and Certification
Qdot conducted the internal audit, supported corrective actions and facilitated the management review, then prepared the team for the certification audits by NORMEIRA (formerly TÜV Apex). Luxury Carts achieved certification to both standards.
Phase 5: Sustaining the System Through the Certification Cycle
After initial certification, Qdot continued to support Luxury Carts through its surveillance audits. The company has now completed its first three-year cycle, with ISO 9001 recertified in 2026 and ISO 45001 recertification due in November 2026.Luxury Carts has renewed its contract with Qdot for the next three years.
The Outcome
1. Two certifications, one system. ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 run as one integrated management system across Jeddah and Riyadh.
2. A full certification cycle completed. Initial certification, surveillance audits and ISO 9001 recertification, with ISO 45001 recertification on schedule.
3. Consistent customer experience. Sales, delivery, aftersales and rental now follow the same controlled processes at both locations.
4. Safer workshops and operations. Workplace hazards in service, warehouse and vehicle handling activities are identified, assessed and controlled under ISO 45001.
5. A partnership renewed. Luxury Carts’ decision to renew with Qdot for another three years reflects the value of continuous support through the certification cycle.
Key Takeaways for Trading, Aftersales and Rental Companies in KSA
- Aftersales and rental are where quality is tested. ISO 9001 controls must reach the workshop and the rental fleet, not just the sales desk.
- Workshops need ISO 45001. Vehicle servicing, battery handling, lifting and warehouse work carry real risks that a formal OH&S system brings under control.
- Multi-city operations need one system. A head office and branch running the same integrated processes is easier to manage and audit.
- Certification is a three-year commitment. Surveillance and recertification audits test whether the system is really being used.
- Choose an accredited certification body. Check that the certification body is accredited for the relevant standards and scope.
